Amiga Version 0.1a
Unix Source 6.1b
SpeakFreely is a cross-platform internet chat tool. A GUI version exists for
Windows machines, and a CLI version exists for UNIX. This amiga version is a
port of the UNIX version.
Features:
- GSM, ADPCM, LPC codecs
- special 'half-rate' mode for even lower bandwidth
- speakfreely, VAT, RTP communications protocols
- echo-server software for testing
- encryption routines.
- directory facilities to lookup other users who are online.
**** Beta ****
This is really only a beta. There's no direct amiga hardware support, but with
the aid of audio-handler there's some kludgy support.
Also, most of the docs aren't in the .guide file. Read the supplied man pages,
and visit the SpeakFreely WWW site to get more detailed info.
